Two icons. One designer: the Porsche 911 was the first masterpiece by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. Its iconic flyline has shaped the world of sports cars. Just as legendary: the puristic design principles of the 911. In 1972, Prof. F. A. Porsche transferred them to his second masterpiece – for optimal readability, even at the highest cornering speeds. The Chronograph I made history as the first completely Black timepiece.
The Chronograph 1 – All Black Numbered Edition brings this heritage into the present – and onto your wrist. Similar to its revolutionary role model, it features a captivating matt Black dial adorned with the current Porsche Design logo, as are the crown and clasp. On the back, the sapphire crystal case back provides a view of the Porsche Design icon winding rotor. The sapphire crystal with sevenfold anti-reflective coating on both sides and hard coating ensures optimal readability. The tachymeter scale and the date display are in the current Porsche Design font. The minute hand is in the unmistakably rectangular shape of the original baton hand, and a tip has been added for maximum precision on the surrounding minute scale. Diameter: 30.00 mm.
