Love this. Looks great and holds the phone well. The magnet is not strong enough to hold my Iphone through an apple silicone case alone so I initially put the plate inside the case. The plate interferes with wireless charging though. So by adhering the plate to the outside of my case at the very bottom it allows me to use the phone holder and my wireless bedside charger as well. If you don't mind the look of the plate on the back of your phone case it's great. Inside the case I didn't feel the magnet was strong enough to hold well. Super easy install. Would be willing to pay $$ for a mag safe version of this.

I LOVE this phone mount! It is the Perfect fit for my 2020 Macan GTS. I installed this myself even though I was terrified popping off clips :-) on my brand new Macan. But it was easy, and the phone mount looks slick! It looks like it came part of the interior. I did not need to place/stick the magnet outside of my leather case or permanently on my phone. I was able to place the magnet between the phone and case with no issues.....it doesn't move at all. I also brought the USB smartphone connection cable. All together makes the interior of the Macan look streamlined with no clutter. It would get 10 stars if I was able to charge as well......but it is still an outstanding buy!

The dash on the Porsche Macan has a sloped "lip" which doesn't readily accommodate a phone mount. I didn't want to mess up the surface either. Found this part on line and it seems to be unique! So easy to install and works wonderfully! I passed it on to a neighbor who immediately got one and I also passed the info onto my salesman at the Porsche dealer. Very creative item and and a must have for Macan drivers!
