Added this cap for my 992. No issues and looks great! The “stretchy” circle on the tether that comes with it fit like the original. The look and quality makes me want to gas up more often so I can touch it! lol

2017 991.2 This looks so much better than the stock black cap. One note on instructions. They give you 4 different plastic cables, you just unsnap the existing strap from the plastic peg ( the peg does not come out) and use one of the replacement straps that come with the new cap. The existing strap will not work with the new cap.

I recently bought this for my 981 Cayman. It looks nice but it is about a quarter inch larger in diameter than the original cap. Enough to be noticable when removing and reclosing it. Still a nice addition though.
