Factory replacement gas cap, comes with tether, gasket, and push rivet. A defective seal can cause a 'Check Engine' light or spray fuel residue around the fuel filling area. Inspect this seal during routine maintenance.

Excellent replacement OEM style fuel cap. Unfortunately, the tether extended out into the extreme edges of the plastic opaque envelope in which it was packed. Cutting open the envelope resulted in severing the tether. My original did not have a tether either. Would be nice to have an intact tether, but not worth buying another cap. If you buy this, be careful upon opening.
