PCM 3.0 - iPod & iPhone Interface Cable SKU: I612C47102

First off, there aren't many iPhones in use anymore that use the 30 pin connector. Which means that you'll need a converter to make turn it into a lightning format. Then you'll need an extender cable (lightning female to male) if you want to stream music and be able to access your device instead of trying to gently close it away in the armrest. The connections aren't great with all this converting, and the cables fall apart. The SunCoast part lasted about 10 months before the female end went bad from too much twisting and bending. People just don't use their phones in the car like they did when this was designed. I'm sure it was great when you stowed your phone or ipod away - back in the day - and accessed your music via the display and controls. This needs re-resign, and updating to the new plug standard, along with a much longer cord.... and it will be fine for almost everyone. But until that time comes (if ever) this is a reasonable and cost effective way to use your iPhone in the Cayenne. Just be resigned to the fact that you will need to replace the cables pretty frequently, which I am about to do after I finish this review.
