I can’t find the parts guy’s name yet but I wish I could. He went way out of his way to insure I got the correct parts. My RS60 has a lot of “unique” parts because of its one-off tribute car status and they knew that. Of course I got the correct parts and even when some have to come from Germany these guys and gals seem to get them here about the same speed my local dealer gets parts sourced in the US. And I have to add, this guy who helped me was so awesome and communicative and expressed interest in my car, it makes you feel a connection. I only order from Suncoast now and intend to make that my SOP.

The LED in my PSE button somehow worked itself loose. Sometimes it worked like it was designed to, but some of the time you couldn't tell if it was on or off by looking at it because the LED was turned around. The rest of the time, it was somewhere in between -- definitely not like it was supposed to be. You know how certain little things can bug you to death every time you get into your car. Well, this was most certainly one of them. Unlike many Porsche replacement parts, this one is inexpensive. There is no reason you shouldn't get a proper replacement for your defective switch panel right now! Sure, you might be able to find one for a little less on eBay, but there are pretty good odds it will not work as you would expect as each switch configuration is unique to your VIN. The difference is small, but the feeling of a genuine, correct functioning OEM switch panel is huge! Swapping out the switches uses a few hand tools (i.e., Torx drivers) and takes about a half hour using step-by-step instructions easily found on the internet. Make the switch!
