They work great for what I bought them for, detecting cars in my blind spot on multi-lane highways. (Every other car wants to get on my quarter and match my speed while looking at my car.). Installed them myself with no problem. Word of caution: The the entire mirror is convex with the outer edge more so, obviously. Cars are half as far back as they appear. Use caution, and your center mirror, until you get used to it. Backing up can be a problem too.
