Sharp lens. Won't comment on the visuals, it does show a amber bulb behind so you have what they call the egg yolk appearance. Some folks buy a bulb that flashes yellow but appears clear when turned off. If you do this, read enough reviews until you find a story about the bulb coating coming off. This does happen and it leaves a mess, so I stuck with the amber bulbs that were included. What I will say is that the instructions generally available claim you can just pull out your lens from the wheel well side of the lens, but in my case, that bent the retaining clips backwards. They had enough life to bend them back but upon reseating the lamp, they rattled. So I had to play with the retainer to get them to set again. There is actually a hole in the wheel well where you can insert a tool to compress these. It's smarter and the right thing to do, so if you find and instructional video suggesting you pop them out, I'd look around more. I didn't tear the bumper but I was afraid I could. On the back on the wire harness that plugs into the lamp, there is a rubber cover for sealing the elements. I dropped this down the hole when the lens was out. I had to remove a dozen screws and bend the bumper out to reach where it had fallen. Remove very slowly - if you brush the opening with the part, it pops off easily. Avoid dropping the part and save yourself some time. Nothing wrong with the part, just poor direction around the internet on how to remove/replace.

I have an arctic silver Porsche Boxster 2005 and these clear side markers match the look and color of my car a lot more than an orange sidemarker. Very easy and inexpensive upgrade as long as you can take out your current side markers. If you've never done it before, then just ask Suncoastparts.com for a video link. I'll just try to post directions and hopefully it'll make sense for people who don't know how to take out their side markers. For the 987.1 models (Porsche Boxster 2005 here), then just push the side marker in and out. Push in the direction from front of the car to the back of the car. You'll start to see the side marker's back edge pull away from the frame of the body, take a flat head screw driver and just pry the side marker towards you (away from the wheel/frame) and the side marker should pop right now. You'll now have the side marker out of the car but attached with a wire. If you take a look at the side marker and wire, where it attaches, you'll see a metal prong holding the wire connection to the side marker. Just push down on the metal prong and pull out the wire. You'll then switch out the current side marker with the clear side marker and connect the wire. The metal prong will automatically pop back up to hold the connection together. Put the side marker back into the frame of the car. You can do this by inserting the side of the clear markers that faces the front of the car first, then push the rest of the side marker into the frame of the car. That's it. Hopefully this helps someone thinking of making this upgrade. It only takes a couple minutes total for the replacement.

The lights were easy to install and they give my car a newer look. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Couldn't be easier to install and is a much nicer look than the amber. Sure everyone says you have to do this if you are an aficionado, but it really is nicer.

Replacement marker lights that are clear rather than the orange mandated by the US safety regulations. My car had the clear already, but one cracked. I ordered these, got them fairly quickly,... overall I'm satisfied with the product and the purchase experience.

I grew tired of looking at the orange side markers on my silver Boxster. The OEM clear lights were installed in just a couple of minutes - tools not required. What a difference! I highly recommend this simple mod.

I replaced the amber housings with the clear European lens (still has an amber bulb). The installation was a breeze!

My first upgrade, it looks so much better. They match the other lights, and give it a nice european look. Came in factory packing, not aftermarket crap...
