Boxster Clear Wind Deflector - Clear

If your Boxster came with the black mesh rear windscreen, rear vision can be reduced in certain driving situations. This new clear version is a great alternative, and offers better rear visibility. Especially at night! Mounting is the same as the black mesh version, easy to install and remove.

NOTE: If your Boxster wasn't previously fitted with a rollbar windscreen (option 551), mounting hardware will be required to add this part.

Not a factory part, this is a Suncoast exclusive part. Fits all Boxster models (including 718), 2013-2023.

Big Improvement

Unlike the annoying factory wind deflector, you won’t even know this one is there. Instead of looking through a course screen door, you get a perfectly transparent view. It fit snugly in my car and snapped right in (the hardest part of the installation is getting the protective paper off). The only negative is the price, but if you own a Porsche you must be used to that. This has to be a $5 piece of plexiglass, though I’m guessing it was cut with a CNC machine which would be hard to do yourself.

While I was looking forward to receiving my deflector, I was disappointed to find out it was NOT made of glass. I went back and re-read the product description and found no mention of this being the plastic. It still looks great, I just hope it doesn’t scratch when I clean it. As of not deflecting the wind, I cannot attest to that...yet.

I like most everything but the fit. It seemed about 1/32" too big. Had to force it with a bang of my palm. Compared to the original it was noticeably wider. But it's great to have full visibility without the screen in the way. I also wonder if it's coming out without breaking.

Swapped out my mesh deflector for this high quality clear deflector. What an improvement in visibility. Suggest keeping it clean as it does show fingerprints and smudges.

This is a great option to the factory screen. It is especially nice for night time driving giving the driver an unobstructed view through the rear view mirror. The deflector offers snap-in replacement without any issue.

This deflector greatly improves rear visibility over the stock windscreen, but offers no noticeable improvement in cabin turbulence. The flat lexan has no structural integrity relative to the original screen, therefore, it tends to flutter at higher speeds. I would still recommend given the additional rear visibility it provides.

Good price and it pops right in. Exactly as expected. Looks very professional. Suggest you don't let it get scratched . I'd like to buy this in actual tempered glass of it was available .
