For fast, sporty gear shifting: the factory short shift kit reduces shift paths by up to 35% (9X6) and by up to 20% (9X7, 2005-12). That means more precise shifting thanks to perfect shift guidance and a sportier driving experience. Compatible with any factory shift knob.

Comes with the new console shift mechanism, shift knob is not included.

Fitment Note: This will not fit the newer generation (2012.5 or newer) Carrera, Carrera S, Boxster, or Boxster S.

Note: gear-lever travel may be slightly restricted when the car is started from cold. Not compatible with Tiptronic or PDK transmissions.
